Southwest Georgia Academy Home

Southwest Georgia Academy is a college preparatory school that serves students from seven counties in grades K3 through 12th. It begins its 52nd year this fall. The school is located on the original site of the former Damascus High School which was donated decades ago by the Haddock Family. Three of the original buildings are still being used. The school offers seven sports in team competition for boys and girls. We have celebrated Region as well as State Championships in many of these sports. Mr. Matt Dalrymple currently serves as Head Master of School. The SGA Board of Trustees consist of 9 individuals who represent each of the communities served by the school. They meet monthly to aid in school operation.
